He is born and raised in Florida but he is actually half Danish/Swedish and half "american" I suppose.

I heard him mention that he got the v and i so he can spell 'viking' when he puts his hands together, since he's proud of his Scandinavian background. That also explains the Danish flag on he inside of his bicep, and the latest Craig Beasley ship on his right arm. :)
